Virtual Railfan Tour of Switzerland - Saturday - Smilestones Model Railway

The Rhien Falls  - a train from Zurich is on the bridge

Smilestones is a brand new model railway located at the Rhein Falls near Neuhausen.  It has been open just over a year and is still under construction. The aim is to show representative scenes of Switzerland.  The railway is extensive but it is difficult to follow the course of the trains as many disappear into tunnels and come out at unexpected locations.  The attention to modelling details is extremely good and done with a sense of humor.
