Thursday 14 September - Miniatur Wunderland

We arrived a little early and walked around the water and saw this view of the Hamburg Opera House which we will see in model form tomorrow,

This was the first of two days to be spent at this incredible model world. Our first objextive was to see the newly opened section of Patagonia.

This shows where the narrow gauge and standard gauge come together. I captured the real thing in 2004. This is several miles out from Ing Jacobassi,

Our attention then focused on the Provence segment

Not sure how the bear found its way in here
The Italian section has lots of interesting details

A large outdoor meal

  1. IMG_3503 is pretty funny! The water must have come in very suddenly to sink the boat. :)
